Life without a goal does not make sense. But what goals should one strive for so that being becomes meaningful and useful? Uniquely true harmony, and not just satisfaction of needs, can only be brought to a person by a high purpose, which really inspires us and releases those creative principles that are inherent in us from birth.
An example of such a goal was described by N. Nekrasov in the poem "To Whom to Live Well in Russia?" Seminar Grisha Dobrosklonov defined his life goal in helping the people. He composed encouraging songs, inspired people and inspired them with high ideas about civic duty and a new Russia, where there would be no slaves or gentlemen. So allegorically, the author depicted the image of a revolutionary who is destined for "consumption and Siberia." Despite these risks, the young man is determined to fight for the freedom of his compatriots. In his ideals the keys to happiness are hidden. He found himself in what is much more important than himself, became part of a great cause, and therefore every moment of his life makes sense.
Another option is proposed by M. Bulgakov in the novel "The Master and Margarita." The purpose of his heroine was love. In order to get at least the news of her chosen one, she makes a deal with the devil, and then becomes the mistress of the ball, not fearing and not sparing the lost chance of the immortality of the soul. Margarita lives in the name of true feelings, she considers everything else to be a mirage and scenery, nothing else excites her heart. The meeting with the Master was her second birth, it was then that she realized who she really was, why she was living, what she was striving for. Love “like a killer from around the corner” ended her old life and discovered a new one - that which is called paradise. The salvation of such a loved one is the highest goal, which, if necessary, should guide each of us.
Thus, love, creativity, service to the people are those large-scale goals that any self-respecting person should strive for. They are the meaning that enriches life.
